Motiv8 Medway is launched
Today saw the launch of a really interesting learning scheme called Motiv8 Medway at the Endeavour Foyer, Shipwrights Avenue, Chatham. This initiative, running not only at the Endeavour Foyer but at the SoapBox Community Café in Lordswood, offers genuinely useful living skills tuition in a way that suits the individual. Even better, there is also a mobile facility on board the mhs Community Bus.
There are "tasters" so that you can dip in and get a feel for what is on offer, and it's all completely free of charge!
Here is some of what is on the menu:
- Basic skills
- Healthy eating on a low budget
- Budgeting skills
- First Aid for babies and children
- Emergency First Aid
- Counselling for young children
- Basic make-up
- Manicure and nail art
- Plumbing for novices
- Working with flower essences
- Starting your own business
If there is anything you fancy that isn't in the list above, just ask the Motiv8 Medway people about it, and the chances are that a recipe can be created to suit you.
